How to Use the Exit Slip Template
Print One per Student
Print a full page for each student. Each slip has its own Name, Date, Class and Topic fields.
Write the Topic
Have students fill in the Topic field in the last ten minutes, so every slip names the same lesson.
Write and Ask
Students write what they learned in full sentences, then put one real question in the second box.
Check Two Boxes
Each student checks one level of understanding and one kind of help before handing the slip in.
Answer the Questions
Read the slips that night. Answer the most common question at the start of tomorrow's lesson.
