Link lessons to the planner
In this article
Connect your lessons to specific dates on the planner so you always know what you're teaching and when. Linked lessons appear on your dashboard, inside each class, and on the planner itself.
How lesson socketing works
Each class slot on your planner is an empty socket. When you create a lesson and link it to a slot, that lesson is scheduled for that date and time. It appears on the planner, the dashboard, and inside the class page.
Unlinking a lesson removes it from the slot, but doesn't delete it — it stays in your lesson library.
Two ways to schedule
| From the Lessons page | From the Planner | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Scheduling many lessons at once | Filling in gaps day by day |
| How | Switch to calendar view, drag lessons onto slots | Click a class slot, select a lesson |
| View | Your lesson library + calendar side by side | Your full week or month on the planner |
Scheduling tips
- Schedule a full unit at once — select a unit on the Lessons page, switch to calendar view, and drag each lesson onto consecutive class slots.
- Fill gaps from the Planner — switch to monthly view, scan for empty slots, and click to link lessons on the spot.
- Use the lesson editor — the Details tab in the right panel also lets you schedule a lesson to a class slot without leaving the editor.
Class slots are generated from your timetable. If slots are missing, check your schedule first.
