What is a class?

A class is the central building block of EMStudio. Everything — lessons, students, grades, attendance, and standards — connects to a class.

Create a new class

Click + New Class from the My Classes page. Give it a name, and you're ready to go.

Choose a subject & grade level

Pick a subject and grade level to help organize your classes. These show up on your class cards and help you stay organized as you add more.

Set a class color & icon

Each class gets a color that carries through your timetable, planner, and calendar. Choose one that makes it easy to tell your classes apart at a glance.
