The class page
In this article
The class page is a dedicated hub for a single class — see its students, lessons, schedule, and grades all in one place. It's where you'll spend most of your time day-to-day.
Open a class
Click on any class card from the My Classes page. This opens the class page — a dedicated view where everything is filtered to that one class.
The class overview
The overview is the landing tab when you open a class. It gives you a snapshot of everything at a glance:
- Left panel — class name, description, student and lesson counts, scheduled percentage, and navigation links to each section (Planner, Lessons, Students, Grades, Attendance, Standards) with counts next to each.
- Middle panel — upcoming lessons for this class.
- Right panel — a mini calendar and class notes.
Navigate within a class
The left panel acts as a class-specific sidebar. Click any section to see that feature filtered to this class:
Overview— the snapshot you see when you first open the classPlanner— schedule for this class only[Lessons](/help/lessons/create-a-lesson)— lessons linked to this class[Students](/help/students/add-and-import-students)— student roster for this class[Grades](/help/grades/set-up-your-gradebook)— gradebook for this class[Attendance](/help/attendance/mark-attendance)— attendance records for this class[Standards](/help/standards/add-standard-sets)— standards linked to this class
These are the same views as the main sidebar pages — just scoped to one class. No need to use the class selector panel.
If you only teach one or two classes, you might prefer living on the class page instead of using the main sidebar. Everything you need is right here.
Class notes
The notes panel on the right side of the overview supports text and links. Use it for quick reminders, resource URLs, or anything you want to reference when you open this class.
