Create & manage tasks

Keep track of everything you need to do — from lesson prep to parent emails to admin deadlines. Tasks have priorities, due dates, and integrate with your calendar so nothing falls through the cracks.


The Tasks page

Click Tasks in the sidebar. The page has two panels:

  • Left panel — your task list. All tasks in a scrollable list.
  • Right panel — a task calendar. See your tasks laid out by date.

Create a task

  1. Click + New Task on the Tasks page, or click + in the Tasks widget on the dashboard.
  2. Enter a title.
  3. Optionally set a due date and tags.
  4. Save.

Edit a task

Click any task to open it. You can update:

  • Title — the task name.
  • Due Date — when it's due.
  • Tags — custom tags with a color for organizing and filtering.

Schedule tasks on the calendar

Drag any task from the list onto the calendar to assign it a date. This is a quick way to plan your week without opening each task individually.

Complete & hide tasks

Click the checkbox next to a task to mark it complete. Completed tasks can be hidden from view to keep your list clean — toggle Hide Completed to show or hide them.

Tasks also appear on the dashboard calendar alongside your class schedule. Use tasks to track lesson prep — for example, create a task to finish writing a lesson before the week starts.
