Lessons

Create and manage lesson plans with a rich text editor, file attachments, AI assistance, and multi-class sharing.

Lessons are where your teaching content lives. EMStudio Pro gives you a powerful editor for creating detailed lesson plans, complete with rich text formatting, file attachments, and an AI assistant to help you draft content.

Creating a Lesson

Click New Lesson from the lessons page or from a class detail page. Every lesson includes:

  • Title — The name of your lesson
  • Description — A brief summary
  • Date — When the lesson takes place
  • Content — Rich text content created in the lesson editor
  • Class links — Which classes this lesson belongs to
  • File attachments — PDFs, images, and documents

Multi-Class Lessons

If you teach the same content to multiple sections, you only need to create the lesson once. Link it to all relevant classes, and it will appear in each class's lesson list.

Time slots

Lessons can have multiple time slots, allowing you to schedule the same lesson at different times for different classes.

Lesson Status

Lessons can be marked as draft or published. Draft lessons are only visible to you, while published lessons are available in all linked classes.
