Rotation Schedules

Configure rotating day or week schedules for schools with non-standard timetable cycles.

Many schools use rotating schedules where the class order changes on a cycle. EMStudio Pro supports both day-based and week-based rotations.

Rotation Modes

ModeDescription
NoneStandard fixed weekly schedule
Day rotationSchedule rotates daily (e.g., Day A, Day B, Day C)
Week rotationSchedule rotates weekly (e.g., Week 1, Week 2)

Setting Up Rotations

Go to the timetable settings and select your rotation mode. Then define:

  • Cycle length — How many days or weeks in the rotation (e.g., 4-day cycle)
  • Schedule per rotation — Define different time slots for each day or week in the cycle

Anchor dates

The rotation cycle anchors to Mondays by default. EMStudio Pro calculates which day of the rotation applies based on the calendar date.

How It Works

Once configured, the timetable automatically shows the correct schedule for each day based on where you are in the rotation cycle. Lessons mapped to rotation-specific slots will appear on the correct days.
