Notes & Portfolio
Add private teacher notes and manage student portfolios for tracking progress and achievements.
EMStudio Pro lets you keep private notes on each student and build portfolios of their work over time.
Student Notes
Notes are private to you — students and parents cannot see them. Use notes to track:
- Behavioral observations
- Parent communication logs
- Academic concerns or progress
- IEP or accommodation reminders
Add notes from the Notes tab on any student profile. Notes are timestamped and can be edited or deleted at any time.
Student Tags
Tags help you categorize students for quick filtering:
- Create custom tags with colors (e.g., "IEP", "Honors", "ELL")
- Assign multiple tags to each student
- Filter student lists by tag across all views
Privacy
All student notes and tags are private to your account. They are not shared with other teachers, students, or parents.
Portfolio
The portfolio tab on a student's profile collects their work samples and achievements. This is useful for parent conferences, progress tracking, and end-of-year reviews.
